Set proudly on Llandudno’s central promenade, The Kensington Hotel is a classic Victorian seafront hotel with an enviable sea view rooms in every direction: Llandudno Bay and the pier to one side, the dramatic limestone headland of the Great Orme to the other. Owned by the Beardmore family for the past 30 years, the hotel is managed by highly experienced staff and caters for both private guests and group parties. If a sea view is non-negotiable, our first, second and third floor sea view rooms all look out over Llandudno Bay and the Great Orme, with our premium first-floor rooms offering the very best of the view. Prefer the mountains, or simply want excellent value without compromising on comfort? Our classic mountain view and car park level rooms are just as well-appointed, at a more budget-friendly rate. Travelling solo? Our single rooms are comfortable, well-priced, and don’t skimp on the extras.

Step outside and you’re already there. The Kensington sits right on Llandudno’s central promenade, just a minute’s walk from Venue Cymru theatre and conference centre, and only a short stroll from the pier, the shops and cafes of Mostyn Street, and a good choice of bars and restaurants for evenings out. Fancy some fresh air? The Great Orme is on your doorstep, with its cable car, tramway and coastal walks offering some of the best views in North Wales. However you like to spend your days, whether that’s exploring the town, catching a show, or simply watching the world go by from the promenade, you’ll never be far from it when you stay with us.
